Meet the Team

Our white glove treatment is not just for our clientele and patients, but also for our team. Dr. Josh’s goal is to bring together a team that not only loves what they do but is also heard and cherished. He wants his team to be together as a family for many years to come.

This is why we have also focused on building a safe and amazing environment for everyone. Sadly, we tend to see compassion fatigue and excessive work stress with veterinary medical team members. With Isla Veterinary Boutique Hospital, we want to establish a trend where the team is valued as much as our clientele and we strive to think outside the box to offer outstanding care to our team as well. Dr. Josh also supports and promotes an environment where his team pursues continued education and further training. At Isla, we believe in fostering education for our clients as well as having the most competent and confident team possible.

Haley

Office Administrator
Hi Isla Family! My name is Haley and I am so excited to meet you and your fur babies here, at Isla Veterinary Boutique Hospital! I am very proud to be a pioneer of Isla Vet and to serve my Isla Family! As the Office Administrator at Isla Vet, I am given the wonderful opportunity to care for not only our furry patients but also our clients. I strive to make sure you and your pet feel welcomed, safe, and listened to—which I believe makes myself and the rest of our team stand out in this field and will hopefully have you looking forward to your next vet visit!

I grew up in Missouri before moving to Florida to pursue my Bachelor's of Science degree from University of Florida. Upon graduating, my husband and I became residents of Texas in 2017. We have two XL floofs that bark, Mufasa and Chance, and one XS floof that purrs, Ashby.
I have always had a heart for animals and people, which is the reason I am driven in this field to provide excellent care for both fur babies and their pet parents. Thank you for choosing to be a part of our Isla Vet Family and to give our team the opportunity to love and care for your pet!

Linda

Client Service Specialist
Hola! I moved to the states from Puerto Rico in 2017 and as far as I can remember, I have always being passionate about helping others and I have always had a caring instinct towards animals. I am so glad that Isla Vet gave me the opportunity to do both!

As a Client Service Specialist, I assist all of our dear clients with the necessary information to keep our patients healthy. I am very happy to be part of the Isla Vet family and to achieve my dream of helping and assisting others. I can’t express enough my gratitude towards the team here at Isla for opening their arms and welcoming me. I feel lucky to be part of a hospital and team that values helping others the way we do and that provides the highest level of care to our patients!

I have 2 fur babies, which are my absolute everything! An almost 2 year old dog named Atticus and my sweet 4 year old cat Olive. When I'm not at work, you can find me on a daily run with my doggo, reading, or learning something new.

Selene

Veterinary Nurse
Howdy! My name is Selene and I have been a veterinary nurse for about 6 years now. I have always been passionate about animals since I was a little girl. I grew up with dogs and even some chickens! I have two dogs and one kitty of my own- Tino, Concha, and Blossom. They are my babies and I could not imagine my life without them!

I knew going into this field there would be ups and downs, but the fact that I am able to help your babies, makes this profession very rewarding. I treat every patient we see as if they were my own so I assure you, your babies are in great hands. With all my years of experience, I've learned that every pet is different and I strive to figure out what is the best way to approach your baby and help them feel as safe and comfortable as possible. I look forward to meeting you and your babies!

Hayley

Veterinary Nurse

Hello! My name is Hayley! My journey in the animal field started from a young age on my family’s south Texas ranch. At times taking care of multiple dogs, cats and even bun buns!

Growing up I worked my way up in the animal field from a kennel assistant to a manager of a local animal shelter. From there I transitioned into the vet tech field and have been helping animals medically since 2015!

I have two kitties of my own at the moment – Presto and Peachy, who are the lights of my life. From my home life to my work life, I put my all in everything I do. As a veterinary nurse at Isla, I take pride in my work and promise to always treat your fur babies as if they were my own.

Being patient and really listening to both you and your babies is what our team at Isla strives for. I know when you come in for your first visit, you and your pets will quickly feel at home. Can’t wait to meet you!

Coming Soon!

We cannot wait to officially introduce you to the rest of our team! As soon as we have their photographs taken and their biographies finished, we will present to you the rest of our amazing team composed of Mario, Angela, and Kimberly!
